Photo Diary | On the Coast

These are just a few snaps from when I visited my Grans little area of the south coast back in September.
She lives in a lovely and rather quaint little seaside town. I love it so much, It genuinely feels like going home every time I visit her.
As children my sister and I spent most of our summer holidays every year at my Gran and Grandads and most of that time was spent at this beach.
Im glad I grabbed my camera when we took my Grans dog for a walk as I really don't have any other pictures of where she lives.
And for an incredibly amateur photographer I was pretty pleased with what I ended up with. My Gran liked them anyway, so thats all that matters!

Wishlist | Romwe

Two wish lists in a row is rather ridiculous I must admit. But seeing as I am not allowed to spend money I have to just make do with looking. And looking I have been doing. Its rather sad to admit I do quite like putting them all together and creating these little collage type images as well!
These are just some of the bits I have my eye on from the Romwe halloween sale. I Thought I would stay completely true to myself and stick with my favourite hues of them all, black and white.
Cant I have it all?!
Check out their fab sale here, If you dare!

Wishlist | Birthday

The title says it all really. It so happens to be my birthday next month (the 15th incase you were interested!) and my mum asked me, as she does every year what ideas I could give her  for what I might like present wise.
Off the top of my head I really couldnt think of anything. By trying to maintain my spending ban I haven't been looking at clothes and what not online nearly as much as I usually do. Trying to avoid temptation and all that but a quick sweep over my Pinterest boards I was quickly able to compile a little list.

First up is The Dior Nude Shimmer Highlighter. After Mary's post on this lovely little product its been in the back of my mind for a while. I rarely spend a lot on make-up. I am much more of a Boots/Superdrug/ELF kind of girl but this seems to be that bit special enough for a present. And the Nina Ricci Nina perfume is the only perfume I ever wear and I have ran out so its about time I replace it.

This gorgeous silver  jumper more so represents pretty much everything that Cos sell. I love everything they have and would be super happy to receive anything from the shop. I love it that much.

On to shoes, I have been eyeing up both the Reebok Classics and Dr Marten 1461's for ages. They are both practical and functional which is probably why I haven't bought either of them! I always seem to buy pretty but very impractical shoes that I never wear. I think these would fit in pretty seamlessly with my wardrobe.

Lastly are the Ray-Ban round metal glasses. I love my current Clubmaster frames and I will continue to wear them but I would love to have these beauties in my possesion. I own the sunglasses in this style already and love the shape so I really would like to be able wear these frames everyday. I have been warned they might end up looking a little harry potter-esque but secretly that makes me quite happy!

Modelling | Backstage

Clothes by: Charlie Hetheridge, Katie Noakes & Naomi Hefetz, Sarah MooreTegan Kersey & Rosie Williams, Tegan Kersey & Rosie Williams, Josephine Norris, Josephine Norris, Beckie Humphris, Laura Dean and Josephine Norris

Here are the backstage, slightly more relaxed snaps from the graduate catwalkshow. I want to say a big thank you to Emily for sending me these pictures and helping me get everyones names in the right order. We were getting in and out of the clothes so quickly it was hard to take it all in at the time!
We had about a tenth of a second to get changed between each outfit so things were rather frantic, especially as some of the garments were extremely delicate. And of course each had different pairs of shoes and accessories accompanying each look.
It was a great experience and when it comes to planning our own show in two years time hopefully it will run as smoothly as this.

Modelling | Graduate Catwalk Show

Graduates work featured: Rosie Williams, Charlotte Wakefield, Beckie Parker, Rebecca Humphris, Josephine Norris, Charlie Hetheridge, Katie Noakes, Naomi Hefetz, Sarah Moore, Naomi Partington, Sophie Fox, Rhianne Butler and Laura Dean.

I was one of the models for a little catwalk show for the Textile Graduates of 2012. The show was filmed and then projected on the wall at the degree show in London. It was a fun and rather hectic experience. Not to mention hot and busy! I have another post coming up with some pictures from back stage of me and the other girls.

Outfit | Watercolours

Jumper: Cos
Shirt: Cos
Skirt: Urban Outfitters
Necklace: Romwe*
Bracelets: H&M and Cos
Rings: Vintage and Accessorize
Watch: Calvin Klein
Shoes: Ebay

This is my first try at an outfit post that I have done myself. In my others I have had my boyfriend take the photos but he is back home this week so I decided to give the timer function on my camera a test drive!
Aside form the odd and slightly grumpy looking facial expressions I think it turned out alright. It will definitely take some practice and getting used to. But I think its a good quick way to do it.

Let me know what you think of this style of post.

Photo Diary | Damien Hirst

Back in August my friend Lisa and I decided that we really should take advantage both of being so close to London and being off all summer and do something a bit cultural. We had both wanted to go and see Damien Hirst exhibition for a while so off we went.

Of course you cant take pictures inside the exhibit but it really was great to see all the pieces up close that I had previously only seen in pictures. The formaldehyde cows where as weird and revolting as excepted and strangely the room of live butterflies scared me a little bit. Not sure why but I couldn't get out of that room fast enough!

We couldn't go to London without a spot of shopping. And by a spot I mean a ridiculous amount. I have no idea why I bought so much but I am going to whole heartedly blame Lisa and not the fact that I had recently been paid and have zero self control when it comes to clothes. And shoes. And makeup.
What can I say I am addicted! In the following days I did take at least 50% of it back.
I don't think I will never learn that impulse buys are not always the wisest of purchases.
