Nails | Nude Leopard

Barry M 'Lychee' and 'Greenberry' and China Glaze 'Smoke and Ashes'

So I might not dislike the Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine polishes as much as I had originally thought. They are growing on me. I definitely still hate the brush but the formula is good.

I recently picked up the nude shade otherwise known as 'Lychee'. It has fast become my new favourite nude. I've never really been a nude nail kind of girl but having been so busy the last couple of weeks I haven't had time to do anything very exciting or neat.
I feel like I can just slap on a nude polish without having to take too much care and it will still look relatively good.

I did just this last night. And as I had some spare time on my hands I decided to do some nail art. I haven't done anything very interesting lately as I just haven't had the time so I went back to basics and after seeing all the nail related pictures on my instagram from needlesandnailsbrighton yesterday I opted for leopard print.

Given that my black nail art pen had dried out I had to substitute for another black polish and a small dotting tool. I think it turned out alright but I find using a nail art pen a lot easier. With practice I'm sure this method would work just fine in the future.

I'm off uni for 3 weeks now so I will have a bit more time to try out some new designs.
Can't wait!

  2. wow amazing design and colour! I can never do my right hand as I'm right-handed so it always puts me off doing any form of nail art because I know that hand will look so awful! Your nails look gorgeous though, you must have very steady hands! xx

    1. I'm right handed too but honestly all it takes is practice. Lots of practice! This one is one of the easier ones just because if you dot on too much you can't really tell. Start with simple stuff and you will be fine!
      Thank you! :)
