Nails | Needles and Nails

Nails by Needles and Nails Brighton*

So here is a first for the blog and for me, I got my nails done. by someone that is not me!
I popped into Needles and Nails last week and met the lovely Christa. A fellow blogger a super talented nail artist.

Being my usual indecisive self I didn't know what I should go for so I picked the colour palette first. I am not a big fan of pinks or reds or anything that is warm toned so that helped narrow things down. Blues purples and greens are my favourite so I decided to go for all of them!

I do my own nails and experiment with nail art quite a lot so I wanted to try something different that I haven't done on myself before. After a bit of a chat with Christa we decided to go for a jazzy camouflage design incorporating all my chosen colours. Also Christa added black just to make it stand out and stop all the colours blending together.

She started with a base of 'Jade Green' and then added 'Feeling Blue' and 'Pukka Purple' all by Models Own. The black was also the Models Own nail art pen. I love the formula of model own polishes and these nails have made me want to try out new 'Ice Neon' shades.

After a few minuets drying she topped it off with the Seche Vite top coat. Which I have incidentally orderd for myself from eBay!

If you are curious to find out more about the Needles and Nails studio you can find an in depth post here or check out their website
It has a great atmosphere and I will definitely be popping back soon for some more jazzy nail designs!
