Nails | Neon Pyramids

White, Green and Blue Polishes from Born Pretty*

After seeing this picture on Pinterest I haven't been able get the idea of doing this nail art design out of my head. When Born Pretty kindly allowed me to pick a few products from their website I chose nail polish colours that would allow me to recreate it.

For the base I used white. In the Pinterest image the base colour was a milky nude but I wanted a more crisp white to contrast with the neon green. With a dotting tool I went in with the neon green to create polka dots in a triangle shape. Apparently both the white and green shades I have here glow fluorescent under UV light. Sadly I do not have a UV light lying around so I can test it out but the colours in person and in photos are very bright!

Because for me two colours are never enough I added tiny dots of the metallic blue. In this design it looks more silver in colour and thats just fine with me!

I'm loving these simple dotted designs at the moment. They are simple and easy to do but still look intricate like you've taken ages to do it!

I have a video that goes into more detail on the polishes and a step by step on howhow I created the deisgn.
